first place rubber and stainless on the glass. after you have done that, insert rope in rubber pinchweld opening. make sure rope starts and ends in the middle of the bottom of glass.  for the windshield it will start on the bottom of one windshield and end on the other side bottom.  place glass with gasket in car opening and have someone apply slight pressure from the outside. pull rope so rubber goes over pinchweld.  for the windshield start on one side working your way to the top of the windshield.  make sure you pass the rope under the windshield division bar before you continue to the other side. hope this helps. this is the way my windshield was installed. but before the window was placed on the car, the rubber was sprayed with dish washing soap and water so the rubber would slip on easier. Thanks goes to Jose from all glass for the tips and info.
