Well about a few months ago i was talking to Acer from the Classics which was in the process of trying to buy the "Tower of Power" from the guy who had it put away for quite a few years well for what ever reason Acer decided he wanted to pursue another car and decided to pass the "Tower of Power" on to someone else so he began to advertise it was for sale.... and we were able to come an agreement on the price and I bought the car to pair up with my 49 Mercury "Nostalgia Sleeper" these two cars are two of the most Notorious old school Lowriders of all time these are two of the cars that helped paved the road for the Lowrider movement today both of these cars were from Classics c.c. in Santa ana anyway ive been keeping this on the downlow but i thought its time to break the news! both cars were built in the early 70's

That's pretty cool. I can appreciate the work that went into these cars and the history.  One thing that I think would have been really cool is if they would have left tower of power's original top intact so that both this car and the sleeper would be on display sporting the gullwing doors like on that 79 pic. I dig the patterns they did on the re-do though.
